How it works

From your domain to the inbox in four steps

  1. Step 1

    Verify your domain

    Add the domain you send from. We give you three DKIM records to publish, plus an MX and an SPF record for its bounce address, and check them in public DNS until the domain is verified. No domain yet? Register one at www.mydomainshub.com, priced in naira.

  2. Step 2

    Create an API key

    Keys start with mdh_live_. We show a key once and keep only a hash of it, so store it somewhere safe.

  3. Step 3

    Send

    Post each email to /api/v1/emails with a from, to, subject, and html or text — up to 50 recipients. With an Idempotency-Key, a retry within 24 hours never sends it twice. Or send over SMTP through smtp.mydomainshub.com, with the key as the password.

  4. Step 4

    Watch deliveries

    Each email moves from queued to sent, then delivered — or bounced, complained or failed. Read its status in your dashboard, or from GET /api/v1/emails/{id}.

One HTTP call an email, JSON in and out. Batches of up to 100, sending later, retries that never send twice, tags, and signed webhooks for every delivery, bounce and complaint.

Deliverability

What protects your sending reputation

Inbox providers judge senders by their bounces and complaints. These rules keep each account’s record its own, and catch a bad list early.

  • Your reputation is measured on its own

    Every account sends through its own Amazon SES tenant, so its bounces and complaints are tracked and acted on apart from other customers’, with its own suppression list.

  • Sandbox first, then a review

    A new account can send only to its own team’s confirmed addresses, up to 100 a day, until its domain is verified, its profile is complete and we have reviewed it.

  • Bad addresses are suppressed

    A hard bounce or a complaint puts the address on your account’s suppression list at once. Later emails to it are recorded as suppressed, never sent, and do not count against your caps.

  • Sending pauses before damage spreads

    Over a rolling 7 days with at least 500 sends, we warn an account at 2% bounces or 0.05% complaints, and pause its sending at 4% or 0.08%. A person, not code, decides when it resumes.
