The companies whose services we use to run Mail, what each does, what it receives and where. They process your recipients’ data only as our Data Processing Agreement allows.

Who they are

  • Amazon Web Services (Amazon SES)

    What it does for Mail
    Sends every email, and reports deliveries, bounces and complaints back to us.
    What it receives
    Sender and recipient addresses, the message and its attachments, delivery events.

    What it does for Mail
    Our database and sign-in provider.
    What it receives
    Account and team details, the email log, message bodies for 72 hours, suppression lists.

    Hosts this website, the dashboard and the API.
    What it receives
    Requests as they pass through, including the emails you send to the API.

    What it does for Mail
    Runs the mail worker, which hands queued emails to Amazon SES.

    Each message on its way to Amazon SES.

    Takes card payments for paid plans, once they are on sale.
    What it receives
    Account holders’ payment details. No recipients’ data.

    The network addresses of resolvers that look our domains up. No recipients’ data.
